change the size of the application launcher and menu

When I click on the application launcher icon, and the menu pops up, is there any way to make this menu smaller and with smaller icons?

i don't know is the same problem but i try to chance site of the panel bar!!! the icon in the pane on the previous version i group it in two lines!!!! some one can help? thz!!
