I just installed 8.10 coming from 8.04 KDE3.5, my problem is that i cant find the disk and filesystem module under advanced is it gone for good? and if so how do i access my disks, to create mount point im still new to all this only fooled around with kubuntu for 10 months.

 Yeah, I can imagine if you depended on it, you'd be a little stranded ... :P
 
 You're going to have to make a little study of how to edit /etc/fstab to automatically mount your partitions at boot, and also how to use the "mount" command, along withandCode:sudo fdisk -lu Here are some links that should help:Code:sudo blkid
