Adept has jumped to the beta stage and now it is in the Intrepid main repository:

Version: 3.0~beta1
Replaces: adept-common (<< 3.0~alpha5), adept-installer (<< 3.0~alpha5), adept-manager (<< 3.0~alpha5), adept-updater (<< 3.0~alpha5)
...
Conflicts: adept-common (<< 3.0~alpha5), adept-installer (<< 3.0~alpha5), adept-manager (<< 3.0~alpha5), adept-updater (<< 3.0~alpha5)
Filename: pool/main/a/adept/adept_3.0~beta1_i386.deb

Upgrading:

sudo apt-get install adept

It will remove

adept-batch adept-common adept-installer adept-manager adept-notifier
adept-updater

Install new packages:

apt-xapian-index python-debian python-xapian

and upgrade

adept

Outlook is same as with the Alpha 6 (no sources editor !)

An applet to show a systray icon when apt has software updates to be
installed, when Apport has crash reports, for reboot notification and
for upgrade hook messages.
