    Estabishing a VPN pptp connection

    Hello,
    Could someone please advise as to how to setup a VPN connection using pptp to a remote Windows server? I have tried KVpnc and it appears to connect, but will not disconnect without a reboot and doesn't seem to pass data correctly.
    Is there any other way to create a VPN connection with Kubuntu?

    Well, without being the greatest expert in this forum I managed to make vpnc work on my laptop, perhaps its worth giving a try. Google is your friend - there are many tutorials out there. This one helped me:

        that disconnecting issue was a known bug and was fixed in the latest release of kvpnc:
