    Point Release?

Does anyone know if Kubuntu will do a point release for II that would include all the updates including KDE4.2?

You really expect an intermediate release in 9.02 when the next official is planned for 9.04
Those who want KDE4.2 can already easily install it.

Only LTS versions get point releases (well, kubuntu 8.04 is an exception even when its not LTS, because of it's special nature, KDE3 and all that)
non-LTS versions come up every 6 months so there is not much point in point releases (pun intended)...anyway, I think point releases only offer the official updates to the original release (security fixes, minor updates etc.), not newer major versions of software (like KDE4.2 on intrepid, since it uses 4.1.x)

        Ah. OK. Thanks!

But if it was a LTS then yes, I would expect at least the latest KDE environment. IMO.
