    Tiny fonts during installation

    I downloaded Kubuntu 8.10. When I boot from the live CD or try to start the installation directly, I get tiny, unreadable fonts. I tried to boot from the live CD, go into KDE control center and increase the font size. That makes KDE text visible. But then if I click on install icon, the installation app again has tiny fonts which are unreadable! Please let me know how to resolve this issue. I am unable to install Kubuntu otherwise.

    My setup:
    ATI 9400HD Pro video card
    50" Plasma TV as monitor connect via HDMI

    I currently have Kubuntu 7.04 working fine on this setup.

    This is happening to me as well.

    I'm pretty sure, by searching the forums, that this has to do with the fact that our computer is plugged into a TV.

    1080p Mitsubishi TV
    nVidia 7800GS
    DVI->HDMI cable.

    Anyone? Help?
