    Caution with todays updates

Hi, after todays updates I cant boot the 26.3 kernel it gets 1/2 way & just locks up & beeps constantly at me. Also if you try to do a dist-upgrade you will remove xorg completely.

    Re: Caution with todays updates

I can still boot into the 26.3 after the upgrade.

What all packages did you get updates for? I haven't seen anything major replaced, and I have all updates except for the new xserver-xorg-core.

I did notice the xorg thing. Luckily I always run dist-upgrade from the command prompt and look at what's being removed before accepting.

Hmmmmmmmm. Nothing here (USA) either, but we're often the last mirrors to get the new packages.

EDIT: Oh, now I see this is under Intrepid -- prolly that explains it.
