Can I use my partritoned space?

I have a 200gb hdd and in the begining i put half with the gnome and half with kde. Now I have used up all my space on kubuntu......

So is there anyway to use the space? or will i have to reinstall just to get my space back...

If you want to delete gnome (Ubuntu?) on partition 1,
use GParted Live CD to delete partition 1:
    GParted: http://gparted.sourceforge.net/
    http://gparted.sourceforge.net/index.php

Then use GParted Live CD to expand partition 2 (containing Kubuntu) "to the left" (the beginning of the hard drive).

FIRST: copy/backup and important personal data you wish to keep from either Ubuntu or from Kubuntu!!!!

Or just delete the contents of this Gnome partition and use it as is.
