How to change file association type for gnome programs on Kubuntu

    Hallo:

I'm using Kubuntu 8.04. And some programs are for gnomes (ex: evolution). How can I change the file type association?
When I use evolution, I want associate some extensions to programs, but I don't not know how.

    Thanks.

Right click on the file and click the wrench icon.

I used to use Evo and it's pretty cool. However, I recommend at least trying Kontact PIM. I've used it in the passed and have returned to it and like it very much.

      Thanks for the answer.

I can't understand you how to modify the association. I can change it easily for kde programs (just from system preferences or right click the file and change the association), but not to know how to do if form programs of gnome when I use kde.

I use Evolution because my company mail server is Exchange (tried with Kontact, but unable to connect to Exchange)...

      Thanks
