firefox 3 rc2 flickers resolved

After todays upgrade, the contents in ff flickers most of the time, (when I disable noscript it does not flicker as often) could this have anything to do with the version of pango?

I also logged a bug with bugzilla, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=438361

Well all the things I tried, like a later version did not work, I can stop the flickering consistently by opening a new tab and switching back to the old one and the flickering stops, however on every new page loaded I have to switch to the new tab and back.

Is any one else experiencing this problem or is it just me?

I am back using beta 2 and have no problems in that version

kubuntu 8.04 comes with firefox-3, this is not a stable version yet
you shuld remove it and install firefox-2

Well thanks for the reply imneo, but the problem seems to have been caused/highlighted by the "weatherfoxy" plugin. removing that plugin got rid of the flickering.

By the way, RC2 and the final release had no code changes.
