    gtk apps on hardy

    hey there!

im a firefox/thunderbird/synaptic user but i really prefer the kde desktop over the others.
after the upgrade to hardy i noticed that synaptic started to look strange, themed with a plain basic gtk style. i started plaing around with the gtk configuration, tried this and that, but at the moment im in the situation that im not able to change anything on gtk-apps.

the settings in .gtkrc-2.0-kde dont apply

i think i got all necessary packages installed (or even more):
    gtk2-engines-qtcurve
    gtk2-engines-qt
    gtk2-engines-qtpixmap
    gtk-qt-engine

can YOU change the look of gtk apps on your hardy installation ?

    have a nice weekend!

    i have found a way:

    sudo aptitude install gtk-theme-switch
    alt f2: switch2

    works!
