Hi,
Use "network manager" or go into system settings and look for "network settings" if you are using cable, you would probably want dhcp so that your router serves you an ip.

Quite, normally kubuntu starts with knetworkmanager on as default. If yours is not running, start it. Just plug in the cable now. If you do not get an automatic connection it means your router is not giving out ip addresses (dhcp) and you will have to adjust your router/contact your network administrator.

Tell us more, then... When you say cable it is either a router or a modem for broadband. In the case of a modem proceed as above.

I follow below steps to access internet in xp -

I get internet connection through cable.

After that i set some values in Internet Protocol.

Finally i download 24 online client. Enter username ,pass and log in .

I am not understanding what to do in Kubuntu ?

What to enter below ?
