NetworkManager and dlink wireless

NetworkManager doesn't work with a Dlink 650 pcmcia card.
Card works fine if configured manually with iwconfig, so it's a problem with NetworkManager (or knetworkmanager)

anyone have a solution?

PJJ pointed me to a replacement for network manager called wicd:

My problem was not so much an outright failure but was limited to WPA encryption and this wicd was the solution!
All together this looks like a very nice application that incorporates most things needed.

I too have a DWL-G650 (Ver.:C2) and it works fine.
