How to install KDE 4.3 in Hardy(8.04)?

Hi, I see the news of KDE 4.3 release (http://www.kubuntu.org/news/kde-4.3), which seems very good and I'm eager to try it.
However, the news only gives the way for 9.04, what can I do as a 8.04 user?

BTW: I'm using KDE 4.1.2 with
    Code:
    deb [url]http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-members-kde4/ubuntu[/url] hardy main
    Thanks!

AFAIK, there is no "easy" way to install KDE 4.3 on hardy (or intrepid), it's packaged only for karmic (and backported to jaunty in a PPA repository).

Theoretically you could compile KDE4.3 for hardy, but I can't promise that it would compile cleanly and it's probably not worth the effort unless you have done that sort of thing before.

My recommendation is to either upgrade (or do a clean install) to Jaunty...or better yet, wait until october and install karmic (9.10).

If you just want to "test drive" KDE 4.3, you can download the next karmic alpha livecd (alpha 4) when it comes out (alpha 3 has KDE 4.3 RC).

OK, it seems the better choice for me is to wait for karmic.
How I hope KDE4 in 8.04 is also LTS so that I could use 8.04 till the next LTS edition without upgrading.
      Thank you kubicle.
