Oops. Default panel gone but new one not quite right

While tinkering and trying to learn Plasma I accidentally deleted the nice default kickr panel at the bottom of the desktop and seem to be unable to recreate it. When I add a new one to try to rebuild the default I get a panel that has widgets with non resizeable widths in the panel. Any idea as to how to recreate or reinstall the default panel?

    from the CLI
    Code:
    rm ~/.kde/share/config/plasma*

Thanks. I think I just deleted the .kde and .kde4 folders and rebooted. But, it has been a while and I don't remember exactly. Thanks for the guidance to do it right.
