Re: Ubuntu-Kubuntu-Ubuntu?
Do you have a capability to "try before you buy"? Like VMware Player, or a spare 8GB partition on your hard drive? Desktop environments are really a matter of taste, and there's no way anyone else can know how you'll like KDE. If you could do a clean installation of Kubuntu on a trial basis, then you could play with it and decide if you want it permanently, or not.
As far as installing it alongside your Gnome desktop, it's justThen you pick your GUI to log into at the login splash.Code:sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop
