Webcam problem

I plug in my usb webcam (Bus 005 Device 005: ID 041e:4038 Creative Technology, Ltd) and nothing happens, it has power, but is not working...any ideas?

I did a quick qoogle on your webcam, and most of what I read suggests that that particular model is not supported in Linux. I did some discussion about linux=headers and compiling the kernel, but that was way over my head.
