I'm using a USB headset and it "just worked"
Is it being seen at all? (type lsusb in a konsole window and see if it shows up there). How were you testing it? I have some apps using my built in soundcard, and some directed at the headset.

Does it show up in kmix, if you use the selector in the top right of the window? If so, is it all unmuted there?Comment

It certainly does show and I have tried switching to the headset and varying switching positions, but still no joy. Many thanks, DavidComment
