I am new to Kubuntu webcam but I need to chat with clients in other places. I currently use the virtualbox running windows xp with each of msn yahoo and aim installed for this need. I would like to use pidgin but do not know if there is a webcam interface for it. Thanks for any help.

 Accoreding to this site, your webcam is supported.
 
 I don't know about Pidgin, but KDE's Kopete supports both MSN and AIM and has a webcam interface. You can also use Skype, if you don't mind it being closed-source.The Nomad's Land - some Linux humor too
