Crystal Reports Like Program for Kubuntu

Good day -

Does anybody know of a Database reporting program that is along the lines of Crystal reports?

Hopefully with a .deb
but I can compile from source if needed.
Gotta be able to get info from a DB (MySQL) on my local Machine

Not sure if this will do what you need but I noticed it the other day while looking at Koffice.

I am not familiar with a reporting package like Crystal, but depending upon your needs and query skills, you might find Kexi (the database tool in the Office package) will meet your needs. With Kexi you can connect to a MySQL database and create your own queries on the data.

Open Office has a Report Designer plug in. It is like a toy compared to crystal but does have some useful functionality.
