Hi there, Gutsy uses kernel 2.6.22-14, and since kernel is up to 2.6.23-9 I was wondering if there is a kernel upgrade mirror..

 Re: Kernel upgrade mirror

kernel.org? They have that marked as the latest stable kernel...

Be advised, however, that installing any kernels other than those supplied in the repositories is extremely unsupported. The kernels from kernel.org do not have any Ubuntu patches applied, so they will most likely not function quite like you'd expect.

However, if you'd like to do it anyway, the TAR/BZ2 of the latest kernel is right here.
Personally, I'd like to see what happens... Post back with your results. For external use only.

 Re: Kernel upgrade mirror

You are right on what you are saying. This is why I was asking whether there is any kernel upgrade repository.. I had problems with fedora and my pc, this is why I tried kubuntu. Until now I haven't faced this problems, so I'm not willing to risk my system. Anyway I will do some more search and if I find any results I'll post back..
