firefox for gusty kubuntu

    firefox for gusty kubuntu

    i just did a fresh install of kubuntu gusty.

    tried to install firefox. "aptitude install firefox" listed all the following packages as dependencies.

    Why do I have to install all these libraries include some gnome libraries to just install firefox? Is there a workaround to just only install firefox?

    never mind my prev post. I just added swift fox repositories to my sources.list and installed swiftfox, which doesn't have 100 other dependencies. And it works great!!!
