Is there a fix yet for this problem? If so can someone tell a noob exactly how to do it? Thanks for any help that can be provided.

Re: Is there a fix for 64bit Firefox and Flashplayer
Not currently, but there a way to get the older version of Flash working, until the kinks of the flashplugin-nonfree get hammered out. Works with 64Firefox and Konqueror.
Post #62 http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=636397&page=7
As an added measure, I'd change "sudo aptitude remove flashplugin-nonfree", to "sudo aptitude remove --purge flashplugin-nonfree".
The wget is 65Megs, hope you're on cable.
In the end, you'll have the pre-Dec 04 2007 of Flash working. Bookmark this page, should an update occur, and Flash doesn't work correctly.
The word "can't" does not exist in my vocabulary.
