Hi all,
I am having issues where I am unable to get out of the proxy and out on the internets. I've gone to System Settings->Network and entered in manually our proxy address (the IP) and the port being used. I do get prompted with my network creds which I do put in but it seems that the connection is still not being established.
Any suggestions?
BTW I am new to Kubuntu. I've been playing around with Ubuntu 7.10 and getting the feel for it so I decided to braoden my horizons and try out the KDE environment distro of Ubuntu.
One last question, I am assuming that joining a Kubuntu based machine to our Microsoft AD network will be just as a laborious task as it would be with Ubuntu...
