Alright, so I'd been having some difficulties installing the the new version of Kubuntu, so went directly from the website on it, then installed the update solely from adept manager. The problem I'd run into is that when I tried to upgrade to the new version from Adept Updater, it pressed the upgrade button from Adept Manager, it would say that it couldn't commit the changes else it'd break. However, manually installing kde4-core and kde4 from the manager seemed to have worked. However, now I have leftovers from the previous distro...Copies of the same program, etc. How do I fix this, and/or how do I actually get the install to work correctly?
- Please do not use the CODE tag when pasting content that contains formatting (colored, bold, underline, italic, etc) Use the QUOTE tag instead.
The CODE tag displays all content as plain text, including the formatting tags, making it difficult to read.
