I have an old AMD Athlon 64 sitting on an ASUS K8V motherboard with a VIA VT8237 southbridge that includes a RAID controller. I have WinXP installed on this system with RAID1 configured. How can I install Kubuntu on this system for dual-boot? I can find explanations on how to make RAID work with Linux on another (non-RAID) disk, or with SW RAID - but I need to do the partitioning on my existing HW RAID system.
