    Kubuntu just freezes

I installed Kubuntu 7.10 a couple of days ago and nothing went wrong with the installation. A couple of minutes after I boot my PC, however, everything just freezes. I don't get an error, but my keyboard and mouse stop responding (I can still move my mouse). I can click all I want, but nothing happens.
So, if any of you know what I should do, I'm open to suggestions.

    It's likely that it's your x-server that's crashed.
When it locks up try pressing Alt with the 'Print Screen' button on your keyboard. If your system reboots then it is your x-server that's causing the lock-up.
Can you reply with a copy of your xorg.conf file (in /etc/X11/).
