I've installed Gutsy from the CD to a desktop computer. After installation, there are approx 73 updates. Adept downloads them all but half way through installation, it stops with a message saying it can't commit to changes.

Re: help! Can't commit on update after install

I always install Synaptic and forget that Adept is even there if you want to install/update with a GUI interface. Synaptic will give the same errors you get when using the terminal as jankushka suggested.Klaatu Barada Nikto
