I currently have 2.6.22-14-386
However, when I try to remove the previous versions, they apparently are only partially removed. What's going on here?
I have had previous success removing old kernels this way.

 ), but I believe all the kernels you have installed should be listed separately in Adept. Just look for your old kernel and tell Adept (or apt, or Synaptic, or . . .) to purge it from your system.
