What should be installed under the settings menu by default? I recently re installed Kubuntu 7.10 and there is only one item under 'Settings'. It seems to me that with my previous installation there was a bit more then that. Am I missing some things that should have been installed ? Did I possibly do something to mess up my menu? If so, what can I do to restore it?

Re: KDE settings menu
I only have two items under Settings, and one was the result of installing Beryl some time back. The other item is Wireless Network. If that's all you have, I'd say you aren't missing anything. If you remember more previously, it's likely you had installed other packages.Windows no longer obstruct my view.

Re: KDE settings menu
Yes, Kubuntu does not have a 'Settings' menu until you install some other (usually gnome/gtk) software that uses that categorySelf-built: Asus PRIME B550M-K/Ryzen 5600GT/32Gb/Intel ARC B580 12Gb/KDE neon
