    Installing/Starting Kubuntu 7.04 on Sapphire PE-AM2RS690MH

I have just buy this machine:

    main board: PE-AM2RS690MH
    cpu: ATHL-4400X2-AM2
    ram: KINGSTON DDR2 DIMM 1GB PC2-6400 800Mhz CL5
    hdd: 80 GB – 2.5'' – 5400rpm – SATA
dvd: SONY NEC Optiarc AD 7543A Dual Layer
    tv tuner: MYCINEMA-P7131H

and when I try to start Kubuntu 7.04 live, the boot stop without any error message.
I have removed "silent" and "splah" parameters from the boot options and I have added "acpi=off" e "verbose". Only with "acpi=off" the boot go on and arrive to start the process like CPUS, SSHD, SAMBA but then the machine reboot without any error message.
Without "acpi=off" the boot stop and remain append without write any error message.
    Anyone can help me?
    Thanks

Here's something to try -- in addition to entering acpi=off on the boot line, also enter noapic and enter nolapic.

No works also with noapic or nolapic or both.
It arrives to start HP Printing System and then restart without any messages.
      Any suggestion?
