    Probably yes.

    http://psubuntu.com/

If you end up installing a (gnome) ubuntu system, just run
    Code:
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop
to get kubuntu. (assuming you have working internet).
I am running Ubuntu 8.10 (yes Gnome) with upgrades applied daily about 0900 UK time. Hardware is Dell Precision 420, 2x 800 MHz PIII, 512 MB RDRAM, nVidia GeForce 6800 128 MB AGP graphics, 18GB SCSI and 500GB IDE HDDs, DVD burner, Hauppage TV card.

Possibly, but it would be rather harder. The Playstation 3 is notable in that Sony have intentionally made it capable of running Linux (as they did with the PS2). So there's none of the hackery that's needed with most consoles (well, unless you want to use the full features of the GPU).

Yellow Dog Linux was the original PS3 Linux distro, and possibly the best tested. You might want to try that first.

Hmm...I guess i'll give yellow dog a try first.

I just want a linux OS on the PS3 that will support every devices on it (wifi, ethernet, audio, video [RSX would be awesome too], bluetooth, etc)

I heard updating your PS3 to a specific firmware (latest from what I heard.... 2.30) breaks native wifi support and you have to do some stuff to make it work again.
