External USB WD harddrive error when the kubuntu is trying to access it!

    Hi everybody,
I manished installing Kubuntu. Now I'm trying to see how to solve my Western Digital external Harddrive, which is connecting on USB. When I click open or browse media I get this error: 'hal-storage-removable-mount-all-options refused uid 1000' and also my Microsoft VX-3000 Webcam. The led indicating working is always on since the kubuntu begins to load its files, before even logging in. I will post this in the Hardware section as well.
Any suggestion for solving this as well? Thank you. Any help would be highly appreciated.
If I type: blkid command, I get the following:
    /dev/sda1: SEC_TYPE="msdos" LABEL="DellUtility" UUID="07D7-0205" TYPE="vfat"
    /dev/sda2: UUID="3CFCAC84FCAC3A52" LABEL="RECOVERY" TYPE="ntfs"
    /dev/sda3: UUID="6EC08B31C08AFF19" TYPE="ntfs"
    /dev/sda5: UUID="1AE0C3C1E0C3A17D" LABEL="Multimedia" TYPE="ntfs"
    /dev/sda6: UUID="a8fecdca-f8be-4ed0-837a-353f2bc2aff1" SEC_TYPE="ext2" TYPE="ext3"
    /dev/sda7: UUID="3e8ddbba-4e6e-4802-bd70-98c06a360ca8" TYPE="swap"
    /dev/sdb1: UUID="463CAD8E3CAD7A17" LABEL="WD Passport Jesus_inside" TYPE="ntfs"
    sorin@JesusInside:~$ blkid
    /dev/sda1: SEC_TYPE="msdos" LABEL="DellUtility" UUID="07D7-0205" TYPE="vfat"
    /dev/sda2: UUID="3CFCAC84FCAC3A52" LABEL="RECOVERY" TYPE="ntfs"
    /dev/sda3: UUID="6EC08B31C08AFF19" TYPE="ntfs"
    /dev/sda5: UUID="1AE0C3C1E0C3A17D" LABEL="Multimedia" TYPE="ntfs"
    /dev/sda6: UUID="a8fecdca-f8be-4ed0-837a-353f2bc2aff1" SEC_TYPE="ext2" TYPE="ext3"
    /dev/sda7: UUID="3e8ddbba-4e6e-4802-bd70-98c06a360ca8" TYPE="swap"
    /dev/sdb1: UUID="463CAD8E3CAD7A17" LABEL="WD Passport Jesus_inside" TYPE="ntfs"
As probably can be notice, the sdb1 is the external harddrive, although I can't see the contents of the NTFS harddrive. What shall I do? any ideas?
    Thank you in advanced.

      Hi Snowhog,

I do wanna thank you for every time you answer my questions. I made this one works as well. It's great. Now I have to make my Webcam VX-3000 microsoft work, which stays all the time on, since the Kubuntu starts.

      Thank you again.
