Well it appears that while we have support for the BCM43xx wireless chipset in dapper we don't have firmware (legal reasons...)-- so the wireless chipset won't work without using the FWcutter fireware extraction utility. But, Ubuntu doesn't appear to supply a prebuilt fwcutter deb package. a fwcutter deb in one of the repositories would be a time saver.

 It's not in Main, Universe or Multiverse.
 
 I just thought it would be logical for it to be in an official ubuntu repo -- haven't looked in any of the Debian unstable repos.
