    Wine

Is it possible for me to install wine on x86_64? I've been in the chat, and can't find it in repos after enabling them. I've tried several times!

    Re: Wine

wine does not yet support 64 bit afaik, though if it doesn't show up in Adept, you may
you have to enable Universe in your sources.list or grab a deb file directly from winehq (see the link at the bottom of that page)

There is a decent How-to on how to run 32-bit wine on 64-bit in a chroot environment, the directions will still hold true for feisty, some packages will be newer, just modify the process to fit your package versions

      Re: Wine

I tried this repository yesterday, and wine didn't show up after adding the repository and updating and searching. I tried to compile it with the directions on the wine download site, but it didn't compile correctly. This is the repository I used.

      deb http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt edgy main

Now what do I need to edit if I'm on Feisty, or do I need to do a chroot?
