I got a mail from someone and i had problems to view the attachment. It is an application/appledoc (appledouble) with some other options.
I found a tool for windows which could extract the content (a .doc file) and save it. Now i am searching for something like this for Linux. The windows tool is named XferPro and extracts compressed/hex/bin/base64 and so on files.
Do anybody know something like this?

that a .doc is a document file so openoffice should do the trick. to get to it incase you are not sure:
