Wordweb

One Windows program i relied on quite heavily was Wordweb, a utility which can be set to a hot-key, and when the middle mouse-button is clicked, up pops a small window with the definition of the word under the cursor.

Does anyone know of a similar utility for Linux?

While it appears that Wordweb has not been ported to Linux, at least one Linux user (granted a SUSE Linux user) was successful in getting it to work via Wine. See this link for the details.

Thanks for that, i've decided to go with Stardict, just got to install the libraries now.

Unfortunately, i lost XP completely, and there are one or two other utilities i would have liked to use - not to mention Morrowind.
