    Google Earth not working

    Well I have 7.04 loaded and google earth hangs at the splash screen. I have a ATI radeon X1550 works with no problem samsung 20" widescreen at 1680x1050. Any Ideas. Thanks.

    You need the proper X-driver. Download the linux driver for your card from the ati-site and follow the installing instructions

      Note: If for some reason you intend to use Google Earth, you will have to install the previous release, 8.39.4 , as the newest driver doesn't work with it.

        I have got the drivers from ATI 8.40 used ENVY to get them.
