About Kmail application

I have Kubuntu and including Kmail. Where is shortcut of this application? In main menu of Kubuntu I can't find Kmail shortcut.
I must always execute Kmail only when I typping "Kmail" in console.
If anyone knows about this?

Kmail is part of Kontact, and Kontact is launched from the Quick Launch panel.

though kmail can be involked separately -- and without as much of a drain on system resources -- by the command "kmail." it's easy, if one wants to do it, to make a menu item of kmail alone, which is useful especially if one wants to use a different pim.

That's the great thing about any community of users - you get to learn from each other.

I just added kmail as a separate application to my K Menu (under Internet). Pretty easy to do. You just need to know the command to use, in this case, /usr/bin/kmail
Once that is done, select an icon you want to use, and voila. Program is available on the K Menu. That done, you can then, if you wish, add that program to Quick Launch, which I also did. To cool. 8)

Linux is just plain FUN to use.

To me it is necessary that program would be auto auto-load mode. Where can I put a shortcut of my programme? Where is proper auto-load folder in Kubuntu?

User autostart = ~/.kde/Autostart (recommended)
System-wide = /usr/share/autostart

To create a trash icon on your desktop, open a text editor and paste the following:

[Desktop Entry]
Comment=Contains removed files
EmptyIcon=trashcan_empty
Encoding=UTF-8
Icon=trashcan_full
Name=Trash
NoDisplay=false
OnlyShowIn=KDE
Type=Link
URL=trash:/

and save it as ~/Desktop/trash.desktop

Once you get the icon on the desktop you can remove it from the panel
