I disabled DHT once. I didn't see any crashes. I enabled DHT again, and haven't seen it crash since.
Just today I left it running for about five hours while I was out of the house, and it was still running when I came back. (As a bonus, one of my downloads finished.)
Anyway, thyscorpion, when KTorrent crashes, does the debugger come up? If it does, post the stack trace. They are invaluable to the programmers.

i ran my .py file and it loaded ktorrent on its own. and i was pleased. but then when ktorrent crashed, it did not revive it.
