    Ventrilo through WINE and recognizing a Logitech USB Microphone

    Hey all, I'm having a bit of a hard time.

    I can run ventrilo through WINE, and can connect to servers and all that jazz, but no matter what I try, I cannot get my logitech USB Desktop microphone to work, or even be recognized. I was wondering if anyone had any idea about how to get this detected so I can use it in Ventrilo.

    I am a noob to linux, and Kubuntu, so any help, PLEASE DUMB DOWN! lol...

    Thanks everyone.

    ALso, new problem... In STEAM, I am getting a weird mouse problem, where I have to click about an inch lower than the actual thing I want to click on... Any hints?

      This was solved by entering this command in terminal
      AUDIODEV=/dev/dsp1 audacity
