New to kubuntu and I apologize if I ask this in the worst way possible...
When I boot kubuntu and I see the logo and boot process in a graphical kind of way (via framebuffer I assume) on my powerbook w/ Nvidia 5200go, the logo seems to be in 2 or 4 color.
I've tried passing vga=791 or vga=0x317 to the yaboot.conf to see if I just needed to set it to display 16 bit color on the console, which didn't fix it. Any ideas of what I might try?
