I installed Kubuntu Feisty in my laptop. It installed 1280*1024 as the default resolution. The option doesn't show anything more than that. How do I set the resolution 1600*1150, which was default in Edgy and in Windows?

Hi,
Usually wide screen are not really well recognized and you will need to modify the /etc/X11/xorg.conf at least I would do it like this.
Anyway, if you're using a i915 graphic card, you should install the package xserver-xorg-video-i810-modesetting

I reconfigured the xserver and it worked this time. My laptop has ATI X1600 Mobility Radeon, so i'm not sure if i need i810 package.
