    Feisty ignored my Fedora drive

Hello - n00b to Kubuntu, but been around Linux a while...

I just installed Feisty to hdb and already had Fedora Core 6 on hda. GRUB doesn't give me kernel or distro options at startup. Bang! Straight to Kubuntu splashscreen. Is there a quick-n-dirty way to fix this through Kubuntu or do I need to use my FC6 Rescue to rebuild the bootloader?

    TIA Folks!

    Hi,

You should modify the config file of grub this way to get choices, maybe it didn't see the Fedora, if so you will have to add it by hand...

    sudo kate /boot/grub/menu.lst
On the beginning of the file you will have a timeout 10 (maybe commented) it's maybe not 10...
uncomment it to look like this :
    timeout 10

Then save the file and reboot. It should appear, but if you don't have the choice for fedora, you will have to had the entries by hand.

    Hope it helps.
