After adding the weather applet to kde panel I expresses values as metric. I cannot find a place to change it to us measurements.

Install superkaramba from with adept or synaptic then install liquid weather and you will have a very sexy and configurable widget on your desktop. I can't remeber kwaether haveing descent config. posiblities.
If you have trouble getting liquid weather mail me I'll be happy to send you a copy.

Installed liquid weather, blank box appears on the desktop. Click on blank box and weather symbols appear. One big sun and several small suns below indicating, I assume, the forcast. Clicking on any of the suns displayus the current condition only. Not impressed yet.

What kind of help is that? Apart from the fact that the english is not english.psssst did tell it a location...
@azray: Right click-> cofigure design and you will come to "find location" part there you can define your location.You can set everything else as you wish. Play experiment and enjoy
