My keyboard shows a weird behaviour. When I'm writing the cursor jumps suddenly to other place in the screen. That doesn't happen in my windows partition; what could the problem be?

The cursor as in the little thing indicating your place while typing, or the cursor as in the mouse pointer?
If you mean the typing one, like I think you do, does it happen when you press any certain key(s), or sporadically?For external use only. -

Check your Num-Lock.... If you reach over to use the Num-Pad Kubuntu doesn't turn on Num-Lock By default.Comment

Yes, I mean the typing cursor and indeed it happens sporadically. The pattern is that it jumps to fixed places in the screen. I´ll check also the Num-lock key. Thanks for your replies.Comment
