    ATI X200 at HP NX6125 problems with driver after beryl

    I have installed ATI drivers from ATI wiki manual. Everything was working fine till I installed beryl without reading manual. I just did: apt-get install beryl. And now when I do: fglrxinfo I get:

    Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
    Xlib: No protocol specified

    Error: unable to open display :0

    What does it mean? I think drivers are working still fine. 3D screen savers are ok, but I'd like to have working everything again.

    Finally I tried to read wiki manual about beryl and after glxinfo | grep direct I get the message:

    Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by se[img][/img]rver
    Xlib: No protocol specified

    Error: unable to open display (null
    )

    Check xorg-log (/var/log/Xorg.0.log)
    Errors / warnings ?

    In the konsole:
    Errors:
    Code:
    cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep "(EE)"
    and warnings
    Code:
    cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep "(WW)"

      Thank you for links. I'll try but for your command results are:

      $ cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep "(EE)"

      (EE) xf86OpenSerial: Cannot open device /dev/input/wacom
      (EE) xf86OpenSerial: Cannot open device /dev/input/wacom
      (EE) xf86OpenSerial: Cannot open device /dev/input/wacom

      and warnings

      $ cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep "(WW)"

      (WW) The directory "/usr/share/fonts/X11/cyrillic" does not exist.
      (WW) fglrx(0): board is an unknown third party board, chipset is supported

      So it is not so pink Any idea what to do now before uninstalling drivers and beryl packages?
