Creative Zen V plus wont charge

Feisty recognizes the player but it wont charge i do have another cable im going to try if i can find it that might be the problem as the cable im using isnt in very good condition.

I have a creative zen v, and it does charge, it just takes a very, very, very, very long time.

Devices like that charge off the power supplied by the USB port. If you wanted to, you could wire up a USB port and transformer and plug it into a wall socket. It's not related to the computer in any way.
