x crashing on ppracer start

[Gotcha]

Ok, this bugging me, not that I wanna play just ppracer but something is screwed up with my drivers. Everytime I start ppracer x crash instantly. I'm running 6.06, on an Asus a6km, Geforce go 7300, nvidia drivers 1.0-9631.

When I check K-menu->System settings->Display->Graphic card says Vesa Generic. (Isn't this wrong)

Also the screen is bugging me, LCD on/off keeps popping up.

Yes, this display seems to be wrong. Can you please the output of this command :

glxinfo | grep render

It should give :
direct rendering: Yes

Also try the command :

cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf | grep Driver

You should see nv or nvidia on one line (or vesa if it's like I think)

Tell us what you get please.

I reinstalled Kubuntu 6.06 and added driver, for some reason it works this time, however I keep getting the LCD on/off popping up now and then. The commands you asked me to show gave the following output

glxinfo | grep render
direct rendering: Yes
OpenGL renderer string: GeForce Go 7300/PCI/SSE2/3DNOW!
GL_NVX_conditional_render, GL_SGIS_generate_mipmap, GL_SGIS_texture_lod,

cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf | grep Driver
Driver "kbd"
Driver "mouse"
Driver "wacom"
Driver "wacom"
Driver "wacom"
Driver "nvidia"


And second does anyone have a program can get the tvout to work? nvtv didn't work, not supported chip.
