        Greetings!
        I was actually just reading the manual for Dapper and found this:
        https://help.ubuntu.com/6.06/pdf/kub...sktopguide.pdf page 36
        "
        Download the Realplayer package from here
        [ftp://ftp.nerim.net/debian-marillat/...-0.0_i386.deb]
        only if you have a i386 machine. Debian packages are not available for PowerPC or AMD64
        architectures. However, you can try to see if a player is available on the Helix Player
        [https://player.helixcommunity.org/] Community Site."

        Now even though it is not available for the 64bit architecture... I am wondering if we can run it in a 32bit environment anyways... I'm gonna look into that further... I'll keep you posted if I find anything...

          If installing realplayer and you have a router, heed my warning found on this thread;

          http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/index.php?topic=13078.0

          Realplayer seems to take the liberty of opening a couple of ports on its own, probably for streaming media or ?. This opens up your system to potential hackers, so be warned.
